Mike Otworth

CEO

Mike is CEO of PureCycle Technologies. Mike is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Innventure, the parent company of PureCycle. Prior to Innventure, Mike served as President and Founding Partner of Green Ocean Innovation for six years. Other founding partners included Dr. Harry Jacobson, Chairman of MedCare Investments and former CEO of Vanderbilt Medical Center, and Joseph Cook, Jr., Chairman of Mountain Group Capital; former CEO and Chairman of Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Vice-President Global Operations, Eli Lilly and Company. Green Ocean provided technology sourcing and innovation strategy and development services to Lilly/Elanco Animal Health primarily focusing on therapeutics, diagnostics and various medical devices. Prior to Green Ocean, Mike served as Vice-President and Founding CEO of multiple start-ups at XL TechGroup (XLTG). Mike was a key senior management leader of XLTG, which founded, capitalized and advanced companies successfully to late stage funding. Six of the late stage funding events included IPOs in New York and London creating $4.5 Billion of market value. Mike began his career on Capitol Hill working as a legislative aide and committee staff member in the U.S. House of Representative after attending Otterbein University and Ohio State University.

Michael Dee

Chief Financial Officer

Michael Dee has an extensive background in corporate finance, investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law.

Prior to joining PureCycle Technologies, Mr. Dee served as the Managing Member of Bird Creek Capital LLC, a consulting services company, providing advice and services to PureCycle. He served as the President and Chief Financial Officer and a member of the board of directors of Graf Industrial Corp., a special purpose acquisition company from October 2018 to September 2020, which acquired a lidar technology company in September 2020. Previously, Mr. Dee was involved in a number of personal investment and philanthropic activities. In 2015 and 2016, Mr. Dee was a Senior Advisor to the President for Finance of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, a $100 billion multilateral development bank, and served as a member of its Management and Investment Committee.

From 2010 to 2015, Mr. Dee managed various private investments, including providing advice to SeaOne Maritime Corp., a startup focused on the monetization of natural gas and gas liquids. Mr. Dee was Senior Managing Director - International of Temasek Holdings Private Limited, Singapore’s sovereign investment company, from 2008 to 2010 and also served as a senior member of its Management Committee and Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Temasek, Mr. Dee worked at Morgan Stanley from 1981 to 2007 in a variety of senior positions in its capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and firm management divisions, including acting as Head of Fixed Income Capital Markets, 118 Sovereign and Financial Institutions Coverage for Asia, Regional Chief Executive Officer for Southeast Asia and as Head of Morgan Stanley’s regional office in Houston. He was also appointed Singapore’s Honorary Consul General in Houston.

Mr. Dee received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1981.

David Brenner

Chief Commercial Officer

David Brenner is a data driven executional leader. David brings 15 years of experience in leading and delivering transformational projects across a wide range of industries and was hire #1 to bring PureCycle Technologies to life operationally. David focuses on building the strategy and driving overall business execution, including leading the global expansion team and working closely with finance and capital markets leadership to drive capitalization efforts.

Prior to joining PureCycle, David held the position of Senior Manager at Deloitte. David earned his MBA from Texas A&M and holds a B.A. in Business Administration, Operations Management from The University of Texas.

Dustin Olson

Chief Manufacturing Officer

Dustin Olson has held senior roles in manufacturing, commercial, and business support functions across refining, commodity chemicals, and specialty polymer business units while living in the United States, the Netherlands, and China.

As a business leader based in Shanghai with responsibilities for Asia Pacific, Africa, Middle East, and India specialty polymer business units, Dustin led the successful regional integration of two major companies, achieved year over year financial growth, and built a strong organizational and project foundation. Prior activities and achievements include successful completion of major turnarounds (>$200MM), start-up of small, mid-sized, and large-scale new construction projects, and two new business start-up activities. He won several local and external recognitions, including the 2015 Coker person of the year for his work to implement a novel process safety innovation within the Refining Coking Technology.

Olson holds a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, a masters in chemical engineering from the University of Houston, and a masters in business administration from Rice University. He strongly supports numerous educational endeavors as a Board Member for the Industrial Advisor Counsel at the University of Missouri-Rolla Department of Chemical Engineering (2009-12), the Rice University Jones School Alumni (2010-13), and the Steeleville High School Foundation (current).
